Bomb and safety film clear - protection for commercial buildings

The multi-layered safety, security and bomb blast window film is installed to the inside glass surface of existing glazing. By doing this we can provide a highly effective protective barrier which holds broken glass in place - therefore reducing the injuries and damage that could otherwise occur.

Do you know the legislation?

Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare Approved Code of Practice L24, Regulation 14, is a legal requirement which took effect 1st January 1996. It stipulates that safety glazing should be installed in all non-domestic premises to waist height in all windows and shoulder height in doors.

Prosecution could follow should an accident on your premises occur as a result of unsafe glazing. If your glazing does not comply with industry requirements, you could be in breach of your insurance.

These regulations are also incorporated into Building Regulations BS6262 Part 4, Safety, Human Impact.
